CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Help us save the chapel! The Evans City Cemetery chapel, the one in the opening scene of Night of the Living Dead, was about to be torn down. Awesome people such as Gary Streiner (sound engineer from the film), Kyra Schon (played lil' Karen Cooper), and other members of the cast and crew have banned together with fans to help re-build the chapel and to spread the word... We need volunteers, dollars, brainstormers, artists, video makers, and blog writers to help.

Derick J. Reid ([link]) is having an E-Bay art auction to help raise dollars for materials and labor needed to re-build this cinematic icon. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Fix the Chapel fund. If you are interested in donating art, please message Derick at derickjreid@yahoo.com and he will give you the info you need.

Also, please consider joining the Living Dead Festival group on facebook. We need all the members we can get! I can tell you that this group is full of truly amazing people - you may even make some new and interesting friends.
